Manifest Density by The Prophet Motive

Mitch Cookson and James "Tittez" Fox-O'Connell, the collective force behind Folk Punk band The Prophet Motive would probably want to be like the other noisy, abrasive bands that make up the Tauranga Music Sux collective but sadly for them they spend far too much time in their hometown of Rotorua to ever reach the soaring lows of Taurangas worst.

Avoiding the calamitous mess of badly screamed one line vocal slogans and pedal upon pedal symphonies of other Tauranga acts like Super Narco Man and Threat.Meet.Protocol. The Prophet Motive bring something fresh to the musical table. An acoustic duo who not only play their songs with passion and dexterity but melody and heart to go with. Their lyrics are teeming with pointed knowledge and will defined political views that help to educate the Tauranga uneducated. Not that we are listening we just wanna hear songs about beer and sport.

But none the less, we are very proud to release the Prophet Motives debut album 'Manifest Density'. The rip roaring blast of political angst. Play it loud. Play it hard. Play it alone, it is after all proudly 'Made in Tauranga'...
