Sometimes, I'm inspired from historical persons and events. Well, maybe not actual history, just our contemporary reflection of it.
Note: We have lots of cicadas in southeast Michigan. Occasionally, their rhythms fall into dotted eighths... Deep.
Our name was derived from a W. B. Yeats poem titled Wild Swans at Coole. The sample is from a reading of that poem. It has nothing to do with the lyrical content of this song. I smashed them together anyway. Sue me.
