Huzzah! Huzzah! The Blood Tub Orchestra celebrate the Triumph of the British Nation in their own, fortunately, inimitable fashion.
Composed as a piece of patriotic PR for the Prince of Wales of the day (he was called Fred and died young), 'Rule Britannia' was a nervous call for solidarity in a nation that hadn't existed a few decades earlier. The British people have been trying to take it seriously ever since and many of them have succeeded in this perilous notion. Thus they have with commerce shined and decided that they own every shore. And of such is the Kingdom of Heaven. Britons never never never shall be.
Songs of the British Music Hall as no one intended them to be heard!
A London based musical rabble (as in Websters definition of โa large group of loud people who could become violent.โ). A group of individuals now busy dragging up evil smelling offerings from demolished music halls, deconsecrated chapels and boarded up public houses.
