These Changes by The Double D's

Formed 2 years back inside a castle over a coffee, in-between bands and car issues on the Sunshine Coast.. It took only one Jam and Dylon was pulled towards the city scape of Brisbane to live and jam with the other D.. Damien.. Soon on their path they couldn't help but be lovestruck by the talent, humor, overall vibe and insane work ethic of didgeridoo player Stacey of Belligerent Goat and man could he drink a beer so beautifully! Not long later he was upon the Journey.

THE DDS were formed and after playing relentlessly in the City, North NSW and Sunny Coast, while playing in other touring bands. Finally someone would have our sound and vision inside a studio, so we gave our jams a shot..
In standard/classic DDS fashion we recorded only one take for each of the rhythm sections, no cuts (drums and guitar split bass) as well with the didgeridoo, while two takes were only needed for lead guitar overdubs for each song.. Singing is just always a struggle..

But it's the only way to listen and understand us and our expression.. We have been known to jam for a long time on stage and so we tried to meet halfway in the studio and make sure the live shows continue to morph and grow in length!

In a world full of everything imaginable being done and been done, all we have is jam and full freedom with our expression, in that moment in time! Enjoy, much love from us all!!!

Started out as a simple jam between two Ds after a broken radiator on the Sunshine Coast Mid 2018..

Now a Trio with
DIdge member from Belligerent Goat, creating ambient, improv styled stoner rock and heavy psych grooves and jams that alter every show..
The DDs have played a few big venues and bands since starting last year..
