What is it about power pop that grabs you by the shirt and says “don’t ever forget me!” and you don’t, you won’t, you can’t! The hooks lift you up and transport you to a time in your memory, maybe yesterday, maybe ten years ago, maybe to a place in your dreams you can’t quite put a finger on. Climb aboard Mr Valentines Fabulous Flying Machine and take a ride through the galaxy with The Furlongs, a band out of northern Virginia. A group of like minded musicians that knew every word of every Jellyfish song, every power chord and harmony from Redd Kross, and joined the Teenage Fanclub. The result was their self produced and self titled album of hook laden power pop with a bit of East Coast vibe.

Recorded at the legendary Wally Cleaver’s Recording studio (founded by Peter Bonta of Artful Dodger) in Fredericksburg Virginia on 2” tape, 100% analog with a mix of vintage amps, mics, and instruments.
