Comfort Creature by crash contempt

There was silence once, before time, and nobody was happy, without anything existing to be happy about at all. So somehow all this lack of being built up so much pressure that everything had to get started on existing all at once, it had to busy itself in spreading infinitely and colliding and creating all this universe that it had imagined being when it was nothing. Somewhere along the line I started existing as me, all my molecules recycled from former stars nearer the start that made iron and carbon and all the stuff. All these recycled parts looked very new once but grew old and ceased to exist cohesively someday that I haven’t met yet. Before that happened, though, I met this cat when I was a kid, and when he was a kitten, and we hit it off, he stayed with me and my family for a long and happy life where he ate anything he wanted and played with the dogs who also lived with my family and he hunted the property and fought with neighbors’ cats and demanded better of all of us. His beautiful bright existence brings me comfort still even though he’s gone. The love I have for this being is forever present tense. Peace to Hobbes and all the light he brought to my life, without question he is a better universe in its infancy.
