Heavy Letters by The Guilteens

Following on from the release of their highly regarded debut single «Further Down The Channel» in March 2025, The Guilteens will release their upcoming debut EP entitled «Heavy Letters», on October 31st 2025.
As well as the aforementioned experimental «Further Down The Channel» the EP includes two new tracks of dark-tinged and groove-laden alternative, «Born Evil» & «The Monolith», and then track «Saviour» shifting gears with the introduction of piano and brass and pulling the bands’ sound in psychedelic directions.
For the EP, The Guilteens have once again returned to Monique Studios in their hometown of Cork City, Ireland to record with Christian Best (Mick Flannery / Susan O’ Neill) and enlisted the services of John ‘Spud’ Murphy on mixing duties (Black Midi / Lankum / Katie Kim). The recording was mastered by Jamie Hyland (Gilla Band / Mhaol).
