Once upon a time there was a daemon who roamed gaily across the universe.

Let us call this being Ꚛℵ∞.

Ꚛℵ∞ weaved spells of sound -- shaking, enlightening, diminishing, forever changing all they encountered. Ꚛℵ∞ traveled far and wide, through sun and planet and void and dust, across emptiness and infinite denseness, orbiting dark stars and chasing bright tails. Ꚛℵ∞ was as much of the nothing as of the something. Their song entranced and enchanted asteroids, novas, and planetary gods; cloud, mist, and wind; meteor, comet, and gas giant; proton, sun, and black hole cluster. Their song chilled magnetic fields; stilled quasars; and thrilled the cosmic mind.

There came a day, a day like so many other days and yet utterly unique like every day, when Ꚛℵ∞ encountered a wind where no wind belonged. They initially thought to go around the wind (for that which does not belong is at first suspect to daemon) but then changed their mind, feeling not thinking, that swept along in the wind was perhaps the curiouser choice. And so Ꚛℵ∞ started.

Many eons later they found themselves at the heart of the wind, flying, sensing out through emptiness -- emptiness as grand as a cold dead universe; a yawning emptiness of dreamless dark.

"Here I must sing my song. Now. For this silence."

For this silence beckoned Ꚛℵ∞'s song.

And they sang...
