Tracks 2-5 recorded between September 17th and October 13th 2024, with the intention of combining for a single track. I decided they worked better on their own, and that shaped the mood for something minimal, low-key, more honest.
'Rain variations' originated from 95 minutes of heavy rain fall on September 14th 2024; the first night of the Czech and Europe floods.
'Thinking back' is a 3am insomnia fuelled bass sketch idea sometime in 2017! I refound the video, and it felt like it matched what was coming together in this album. The closing track has the melody stretched to tie the whole collection together.
I hope 'Simple Natures' works for you in the same way it works for me.

A different version of 'Simple Natures' is on my new label Mountain Forest Cabin Dweller:

Thank you George Bidwell for an amazing review of 'Simple Natures' on their Weirdo's Weekly feature.
"This is one of the most exciting, confounding, and overwhelming records I’ve heard this year, taking ambience to a place beyond prettiness or misery into something unique and contradictory.
MUST LISTEN."
