Asha by The Real Loveless
Asha is the debut album from The Real Loveless. The word is taken from an old religious principle, "fire as the agent of truth." Light, fire, appear everywhere on the tracks. The lyrics float in and out of trip hop, dance, acoustic, and ambient backgrounds. Ultimately, the songs are about the thread of love that pulls us through a lifetime of disappointment, grief and reckoning; set against a backdrop of bells, beats, and ghost voices.
