I met Phil outside the Cambie in June of '07. He played me "Pancho & Lefty," I played him "Blonde & Blue" & we became inseparable. He let me crash with him 4 weeks @ his place on Hastings. We busked every day & wrote songs together. Conrad would come by @ night to hang out & play too. In July we took a ferry to Victoria to make this recording in 2 days on a borrowed 8-track @ a friend's house. -D
