Girl's World from Rallye Sport by The Spanish Amanda
"Girl's World" was a 'learning' toy from back in the 1970's - basically, a plastic head with synthetic hair which you could style into a number of... well, erm, styles. Obviously. Terrifyingly, you can still buy a Girl's World styling head in Argos.
Listening to this song now, twenty years after writing it, I can't help but feel the subtle influence of Chas & Dave over the opening piano line. Just me..?
