Folder #06 by the volume settings folder

it's been over a year since I started exploring the muddy shores of Piovini, a very small fraction of a vast village, inhabited by very few people, 15 km or so South of Venice, Italy. the place's relatively wide extension is due to its coastline. being almost entirely a marsh, there is a huge portion of land constantly taken by the flood, and then left back. the tide takes and gives back, in a constant repetition that is almost like a very slow paced breath.

exactly one year after Folder #05, this new album sums up the exploration of that place and is my tribute to the swamps my boots walked so eagerly through. while at the end of 2015 I was looking for closure and home, during the last year I've learned to wander, even if to the places closest to my heart. a lot of footage and field recordings I produced recently comes from that place.

I've also learned to use my voice, or my breath as I prefer to think, for musical purpose. it is the main "instrument" over three tracks in Folder #06. they are all related to water' masses and what they ravish from the liminal lands.

this is indeed what I've been ravishing from my soul.
