We started in 1989 as Death Metal band Necrobiosis. In 1991, we changed our name to Thromdarr, and at the same time the music style changed to Black Metal. The first demo As a Wind Cries was made in 1992. After four demos and many gigs in 1998, we made our first album NorthStorm Arrives. In 2011 Electric Hellfire was released. In 2022 was released Midwinter Frost - Complete Demo Tapes 1990-1997.
