Mariner Shells from Treasureville by Tidal Peak
The first track written and produced for the album. The original demo was recorded on October 29th, 2019 which was the very first day of officially starting the album. The demo was kept and retained throughout the entirety of the album's recording, with further textures overdubbed later on. The title of the original demo was 'Last Frontier' before lyrics were added, and was slated to open the album early on.
Written about a long-distance relationship which has since developed into a long-lasting one. 'Mariner Shells' could almost be considered a sister song to the 2020 standalone single 'Shimmer', since they're both about the same person, both use aquatic imagery and 'Shimmer' was originally intended to be featured on the album (but then time got away from us eh?).
