AV, Rocker magazine:
Four improvisations blending unidentifiable electronic clang and rumble, hums, rhythmic pulses and glitchy lo-fi circuit-bent noise. As fried and unpredictable as the sounds and methods seem to be, there’s a remarkable feeling of cohesion present on these tracks. Whether it’s good chemistry between the two musicians or the structural sonic elements, like a steady drone or rumble grounding the more dynamic features, or a noisy section smoothly transitioning to something subtle, the pieces aren’t loose or meandering. At times the sounds conjure an image of a telegraph machine gone haywire or a scene from a Cold War movie where high-tech radio equipment or codebreaking gear is in use. A solid set of well-executed electronics.
