Sparkle from January by Tom Luther

Solo piano.

This track shows far more tribute to my jazz influence than most of the work this month. However, while not obvious immediately, it employs the same fourth interval and a similar rhythmic motif as "Frozen". The title is a reference to how snow sparkles in moonlight.

Tom Luther is a multi-media artist working in sound, music, and video. His work reflects the intersection of these domains, and their integrations with the natural world. In his art, he strives to make connections between elements, performers, and concept in a conversational and interactive manner.
