Blessing from Rhythm Mission by Tony Vacca

This song began as a vocal improv. I listened over and over to how I vocalized these parts and faithfully kept them exactly as I sang them. As the band so generously played down every strange twist and turn I had created the long thread of ideas became clearer and clearer until, well anti it became exactly what's here.

Tony Vacca has become a true “rhythm nomad,” incorporating a world of percussion music and instruments to create something… all his own.

Over the course of his career he has made a habit of pushing the already adventurous conventions of World Music into new territory, both as a soloist and as the leader of his World Rhythms Ensemble.
