Mali Rock from Rhythm Mission by Tony Vacca
On my first trip to Mali I was stunned and so very taken by the beauty and complexity of their balafon music. It "rocked" in a way that nothing else did. With that in mind, I set out to create my own set of riffs that we might work together into something close to the hypnotic music I had heard, and this song is what we created.
