Remixes by Transatlantic Alliance

'Remixes' consists of a series of remixes of Transatlantic Alliance's self-titled debut album, which was originally released in 2021 on Post. Recordings.

Contributing artists includes Mogwai as well as We Lost The Sea, HOLY FAWN, Christopher Royal King (This Will Destroy You) and others.

On Mogwai's remix of Saint Wulfstan the Scottish post-rock pioneers masterfully layer synths to accompany the original song's piano melody which - when combined with a driving electronic drum beat - takes the listener on an energetic and introspective listen, culminating in a wonderful crescendo of sparkling high frequency synths & arpeggios.

HOLY FAWN's re-work of A Walker Without Wings expertly conjures a dark and introspective electronic atmosphere - perfect for listening to at night time - by layering synths, thick sub bass and electronic beats alongside the original guitar melodies.

'Transatlantic Alliance: Remixes' was released (digital and vinyl) on Friday June 30th. Vinyl orders are available now via De Mist records (EU) and the band's Bandcamp page (Rest of World).
