I wrote this song in 20 minutes in February of 2021. I experienced a setback in making my album, and after overreacting out of sadness and anger, this is what was left. When I wrote it, I was thinking about the absolute bangers that opened the second side of Game Theory's albums as well as Scott Miller's ability to pair a snarky lyric to a sunny melody.

Under the name Travels With Brindle, Boston-based songwriter Chelsea Spear got started as a busker on the MBTA, playing ukulele covers for a diverse audience. She later began writing her own music, developing the ethereal-yet-gritty style that can now be heard in the tight melodies of her most recent EP, Greetings from Rocky Point. She is writing her second EP.
