SLUG by Travis Trevisan
SLUG is the new ambient folk album from Tape Deck Mountain songwriter Travis Trevisan. Recorded in Nashville Tennessee SLUG employed endless filters of loops and atmoshere to create fresh listening environments sometimes described as folk soundscapes. Trevisan's alto soars on top of the ambience with 'ooohs' and 'awwwws' exploring new sonic territories for a voice whom is usually identified with witty and biting word play. Recorded the week after the US election Travis states "I was numb and at a loss of words, I took a break from the Facebook ranting and raving. I decided to hug it out for a moment with SLUG"
SLUG will be released 01/30/17 via Mouca (EU) and 02/24/17 on cassette via Land Animal Tapes (US) and on CD via Nineteen98 (US)
