Indefatigable by Trichotomy

Indefatigable - “(of a person or their efforts) persisting tirelessly.”

Trichotomy collaborate with master percussionist Nozomi Omote on a new work written by Trichotomy drummer & bassist John Parker & Sam Vincent for the trio + Vibraphone and Marimba.

Blending the signature trio sounds of rhythmic layering with catchy melodies, the group is enhanced by the lush sounds of Marimba and Vibraphone, adding greater melodic and textural depth to the music.

John - The title (originally in inverted commas) was a slightly tongue in cheek use of the word pertaining to the very tired state within which I was persistently subjected to during the composition and construction of this piece.

Sam - This work came about in discrete sections that have been skillfully woven together by John. They cover some of my musical obsessions including repetition, harmonics, rhythms that displace the beat and cross bar lines and parts that go in and out of phase with each other.
