Trichotomy collaborate with master percussionist Nozomi Omote on a new work written by Thomas Green for the trio + Vibraphone and Marimba.

Blending the signature trio sounds of rhythmic layering with catchy melodies, the group is enhanced by the lush sounds of Marimba and Vibraphone, adding greater melodic and textural depth to the music.

Composer Thomas Green says:
I am inspired by fiction, and this often makes its way into my music. Piranesi is an amazing novel by Susanna Clarke. I won’t give out any spoilers, but you should definitely read it. I wrote this piece at the very time I was reading the novel, hence my music has taken on the title as an homage to Clarke’s work. This music is a study in creating an entire piece from just some simple ideas.
