My mother lost her home (our family home) in the earthquakes, as did hundreds of people in Christchurch. The loss made me wonder what and where is home, if our home gets destroyed...? and when we re-build our home, do we do so knowing that it may be destroyed again? Where really is our home? In our vulnerable state, in this insecure world, is it safer and more congruous to create our home inside of us?
