Pinball by Christopher Burns & Bryan Jacobs

Kinetic and visceral electronic improvisations from the duo of Christopher Burns and Bryan Jacobs. Burns performs with a custom software synthesizer that facilitates continuous control of pattern and sound. Jacobs plays guitar as the input to an electronic system that responds to his specific performance choices with changing sonic treatments. Together, they make a kind of cyborg music - the embodied and physical integrated with computer technology into a larger whole. "Pinball" veers between pristine focus and gleeful absurdity, a dynamic and mercurial dialog between the artists and their machines.
