Сыплет Зима, не жалея, снежком,

Скованы льдами, обредши покой.

Клич по улицам града летит,
Брошен повольников в путь собирать -
В дальние земли ватага пойдёт
Нового счастья-богатства искать.

Эй, удальцы-смельчаки!
Эй, кому свой двор надоел?
Дома тесно кому?
Кому отцовская шуба тесна?

Где летом топь непролазная,
Там зимний путь гладок и твёрд.
Тронулись сани, гружёны припасами, -
В дальний путь начат поход.
