Vee grew up in a household that infused him with Soul music, RnB, and Rock, with artists such as Erykah Badu, Queen, Tupac, The Fugees, and Queen Latifah This all contributed to his eclectic taste in music. As he became more serious about his art, Vee Miyagi took it upon himself to study those that came before him. Artists such as Nas, Lupe Fiasco, Blu and 50 Cent became his greatest influences.
