Igneous by The Owl + VEIDRIK
Igneous is a collaborative album between The Owl and VEIDRIK, created between November 6th and December 7th, 2021.
For this collaboration, The Owl sent me one of his photographs, from which 18 minutes of sounds were created from the raw data. The Owl then took my recording, broke it down and made each track from this album from the pieces.
Tracks 1, 3, 4 and 6 were made from what has become track 2.
7 was made from 5, and 9 is from 8 reversed.

This goes without saying, but it was a great honor and privilege to be able to work with The Owl on this release. His seemingly endless drive and boundless creativity are an inspiration to me so it is almost surreal to hear the sounds we made together. We worked together before on the Morbid Beauty / VEIDRIK split (Descendants of Xaoc), and I'm sure there will be more collaborations ahead in the future.

My contribution to this album was a fully-improvised 18-minute harsh noise piece that was recorded on 11-6-21.
