RUIN - remastered by Venus de Mars and All The Pretty Horses

RUIN - remastered, is a re-release, remastered version of the original RUIN (2000 release) album by myself and my then ATPH band.
The recordings feature
Jendeen Forberg - drums
Lee Ann (Pandora) MacDougall - bass
Tiffany Tieche - back-up Vox
Venus de Mars - main Vox and Guitar

The original RUIN album was recorded at Pachyderm Studios in Cannon Falls over one weekend of around the clock sessions, without click-track, using exclusively analogue technology recording equipment: 24-track reel-to-reel tapes.

The final 1/2 track reel-to-reel master was mixed at 3rd Ear by Tom Herbers (with the exception of "Poison" which was mixed at Pachyderm)

** All mixing effects were achieved using analogue techniques including a flange effect by using 2 reel-to-reel tape machines playing two mixdowns of a song played back at the same speed. Dragging a finger on the "flange" of one of the reels to slightly slow it down, creates the flange-effect.

This digital release includes a digital .pdf version of the original RUIN CD booklet
