A sonic journey exploring the encounter between the ancient tradition of Tibetan singing bowls and the expressive possibilities of contemporary electroacoustic music.
This work investigates the infinite timbral nuances of Tibetan singing bowls through recording and electroacoustic manipulation. Each sound was captured in its original purity, then transformed using digital processing techniques, creating soundscapes that oscillate between meditation and experimentation.
The recordings were processed using various electroacoustic techniques: granulation, ring modulation, spatialized delays, selective filtering, and artificial reverbs. This approach expanded the sonic universe of the bowls while maintaining their organic nature and contemplative power.
An album that invites deep listening, where ancestral sounds dialogue with contemporary technologies, creating a space for reflection that transcends boundaries between tradition and innovation, sacred and experimental.
