Ornithic Limewash by Milieu
ORNITHIC LIMEWASH is the result of a series of cascading accidents and unintended recording states in the White Pillar Workshop. Using room sound harvested from a session on the evening of August 5, 2021 in conjunction with a vocoder and the R-EW Audioholistics modular system, it was possible to reshape this otherwise "cutting room floor" material into something comfortable and relaxing. Additionally, this piece has been presented this way for the purpose of flexible home meditation and substance-assisted relief from pain, for two people going through a difficult time.
