Smoke by Victor Rice

Victor Rice – a stalwart of the celebrated 1990s Version City ska scene in New York as well as a Grammy-winning studio fixture in Sao Paulo for the past decade – will release his first album in fifteen years this fall. On November 3rd, Rice will release SMOKE via celebrated indie reggae label Easy Star Records. SMOKE’s ten fetching horn-filled instrumentals represent Rice’s pursuit to create a new hybrid of Brazilian samba with Jamaican rocksteady.
