Consequences by a Place Like This

It's a hilariously ironic thing, producing an album themed around the troubles that come with chronic impulsivity and poor decision-making that is, in itself, an impulsive project. But, considering the alternative--which would undoubtedly be a pretentious pile of sludge devoid of true emotion or passion--maybe the irony is a necessary component.

"Consequences" consists of two long-form improvised sessions made via a feedback loop of various guitar pedals, as well as two field recordings captured in West Side, Chicago, Illinois. No post-processing was used except for mild compression and mixing. It was very much a spur-of-the-moment creation, but it is unlikely anything of the same caliber could've been made consciously.

All content featured in "Consequences" was recorded and produced entirely within the span of 48 hours between June 16th and June 17th 2025, all while severely sleep deprived.
