Exotica Reborn by The WAITIKI 7

"Exotica Reborn" bridges our two vinyl releases of 2025, "Caves of the Sea" (studio album) and "Enchantment Under The Kiawe Tree: The WAITIKI 7 Live at House Without A Key" (live album) in one digital album (also available on CD).

This album omits the lengthy spoken dialogue from the "Enchantment" album. The 14th track is a bonus: it's free of the ambient audience sounds & ending applause, making it perfect for playlists, listening enjoyment, and cocktail party use!

Founded as a band in 2003 by Hawaii’s Abe Lagrimas Jr. & Randy Wong, WAITIKI takes its primary inspiration from the great midcentury/exotica musicians Les Baxter, Martin Denny, and Arthur Lyman. Over the years, Waitiki’s projects have grown beyond tiki to include the space-age bachelor pad music of Juan Garcia Esquivel,the cool Latin Jazz of Cal Tjader, the Saturnalia of Sun Ra, and more.
