"Kosher" is a product of the city from which it was born. You can hear the interactions between its citizens swirling between the polyrhythmic pulse of the metropolis. The production carries itself like a summer afternoon spent channel-surfing, covering a lot of ground in its 26 minutes of sputtering rhythms, vocal samples, and instrumental flourishes. At its conclusion, it's equally recognizable as both sound collage and beat tape, although neither summation would fully describe it without the other.
