This haiku of a song becomes something much longer in the live version of my imagination. It stretches towards an hour with a very slow build up leading to extended solos, meandering improvisations, an intense climax and then a soft, tender conclusion. Someday I hope to make that a reality but here I opted for brevity, simply wanting to take note of that larger possibility.
