An open-ended session header for live modular music recorded with a bloodstream saturated by medical-grade Tetrahydrocannabinol, as indicated by the naming convention referring to the Ohio Medical Marijuana program.
This eighth session was recorded live using the R-EW Audioholistics generative system and modular processing path, on the evening of 22nd January 2025. "OHMM VIII" is the initial excavation using the Stylophone CPM DS-2 monophonic analog synthesizer, which consists of two 3340 "Curtis chip" VCOs and two 3320 filters, alongside two banks of variable waveform low-frequency oscillators (although they were switched off for this session). Both oscillators using pulsewaves with both filters in high-pass mode almost completely resonant. Output to B305 mixer, then into Strymon Magneto in Shift mode. Magneto dry and wet outputs sent to Toppobrillo Minimix. Recorded live in GoldWave at 16-bit depth and 48 kHz sampling rate. Post-proc in FL Studio using two tuned instances of ring modulation on two multed copies of the original signal.
