N.B. Relocating to Cleveland, studio packed up in boxes. Raiding the archives to have some new things up for this almost Bandcamp of Fridays.
First session with the Feedback Modules VCZIIIA oscillator, a recreation of the first oscillator section of the EMS VCS3, produced by Electronic Music Studios in England in 1969. In this session, the VCZIIIA received external modulation to the shape, sync and frequency modulation inputs via the Buchla 258t dual oscillator and Quadraturia in Ornament and Crime. The square, ramp and sinewave outputs on the VCZIIIA were mixed via Buchla 292t Quad Lo Pass Gate in combo mode, then panned in Doepfer A-138s stereo mixer, then summed in Toppobrillo Minimix for the final stereo mix. The VCZIIIA's "mix" output was sent into Strymon's Magneto four-head tape delay system, which was also mixed in Toppobrillo Minimix. Post-proc in GoldWave included two stereo-panned instances of the same session pitched up to two different pitches via Frequency Blend, then a six-stage stereo panned delay, then the fast Fourier transform utility and a soft knee 2:1 compressor.
