All the loss and confusion
With your lovely blanket of illusion

Smooth the ridge, fill the hollow
Cover all my emptiness and sorrow
With your soft Winter whiteness
Turn my darkest shadows into brightness

Tiny snowflakes come drifting
Lighten all the loads that I’ve been lifting
With your bright crystal silence

Weight the trees, bend the branches
