The Bridge by Willie Green III
"The Bridge" is a song that reflects on my experience growing up as a preacher's kid and the discussions I had with my dad about God. He believes that his teachings serve as the bridge between us and God. In the song, I used two instruments to symbolize the relationship between humanity and divinity, aiming to bring them closer together. Additionally, I incorporated a two-voice framework inspired by a cantus firmus that I composed.
