As life changes at a dizzying pace, it's the constants that you hold the most dear. Wind or Ghost has seen its members through three marriages, three graduations, the break up of four bands, the formation of three others, 15 new pets (12 cats, 3 dogs), the loss of three others, and countless moves within their beloved city of Chicago.
Steeplechase, the band's long-awaited debut EP, was literally recorded in-house, at the band's Union Rock Yards practice space by Scott Picco at his Continuous Signal Recording. It was done completely on tape, giving the album pleasant lo-fi warmth and allowing noted vocalist Emily Schambra's astonishing voice to be on display in pure form without the "help" of auto-tuners or other digital namby-pamby.
