Woodwose was formed in 2012 as an offshoot of medieval/theatrical band Daughters of Elvin. The Dancing Stones CD reflects the skills and interests of the initial lineup. Since then there have been intermittent gigs with a flexible lineup with the core of Katy Marchant and Steve Tyler, the repertoire comprising medieval music, own compositions and anything between.
