We think we’re part of the free world, but we’ve never been so wrong
As time is being moved out of joint we cannot imagine any defiance
Somehow thinking that we’re unaffected when we stand against the racing standstill
We’ve lost the will and resolve to move away as all alliances have long been broken apart

Our hearts die somewhere in silence
In search of resolution, in the name of progress

What was set in motion has spun out of control
If truth is spoken at the end of all this
And what will be heard we cannot imagine

Our lives now derailed by momentum
We cannot see the outcome anymore
