Dear U from Letters EP by Murphy's Watch
This song is what spurred the idea of Letters. It's addressed to my most recent ex, Samantha; my mother; and my old rhyming partner, EGAR. If I hadn't done this song, I don't think I would have been able to advance emotionally with my lyrics.
The idea of a "Dear U" song came about from writing anonymous letters to a few of my friends online. Simply addressed to "you." It's a great way to get all of your feelings out without the drama. And that's exactly what I did here.
