“Emotional” is the fifth studio album from Danish alternative pop trio When Saints Go Machine. “Emotional” presents the three-piece in a more accessible musical sphere than most would expect succeeding their previous two acclaimed experimental albums. “Emotional” tackles our innermost vulnerabilities – addiction, love and loss.
 
With every album WSGM ventures into groundbreaking soundscapes and genre defiant expressions. Over the years their collaborations have ranged from Killer Mike (Run the Jewels) to Copenhagen
 
“Emotional” is a new motion. The album was born under three special work conditions: a pandemic, a manuscript for a tv-series and a deadline. All of which has determined the framing of an album that touches upon the most basic emotion of human life – dependency.
 
Where the previous album “So Deep” sought new frontiers in music and technology, influenced by existing in frenzied surroundings, the new album looks deep into the core of music and being human at this time: socially restricted yet in need of others; teeming with life in the face of a global pandemic. The album exhibits WSGM in an exceptionally strong and emotionally open mode.
