1617 by Yield Painting Further meets TABU ZOMBIE
The trio's completely improvised performance project, " Yield Painting Further," consists of Wataru Sato on piano (Gecko&Tokage Parade), Takuya Nakayama on bass (Gecko&Tokage Parade), and Tsukasa Inoue on drums (fox capture plan, THE JUNEJULYAUGUST, SYS).
They adhere to a performance style where they construct melody, chords, and rhythm on the spot after taking the stage. The resulting music transcends mere abstraction, evolving into melodic and story-driven compositions.
In 2023, they began consistent live performances starting with the January show at BLUE NOTE PLACE. Finally, they announced the release of five pieces of completely improvised one-take recordings, each with a different concept, under the Playwright label throughout the year. The first installment, titled '1617,' recorded with TABU ZOMBIE (SOIL&"PIMP"SESSIONS) as a guest, will be released on May 22nd.
