HTCH 223 by Zebra Secrets

HTCH 223 is fourth in a series of recordings made in the bowels of the San Francisco Art Institute. Accumulated children's LPs, rare plucked or breathy instruments, slap-dash synthesizers, and harshly thwacked 70s bass all became a part of the unexpected potion.

Zebra Secrets formed in February 2021 and immediately began recording in room 115 of the San Francisco Art Institute, a beloved building that was nearly emptied because of the pandemic.

John Seden, John Alderman and Brent Johnson bring years of experience, as well as varied approaches and instruments, to improvise pieces that weave particular moods, and then unravel and instantly reshape.
