Human Prints by ZENO DE ROSSI TRIO + 1

Human Prints is the new album by the trio of Zeno De Rossi, Francesco Bigoni, and Giorgio Pacorig.
The record is a collection of outtakes drawn from their three previous albums — Kepos (El Gallo Rojo Records), Elpis (Skirl Records) e This Is Always (Hora Records) — pieces that, for various reasons, did not make it onto the official releases, yet offer an equally clear insight into the band’s identity and evolution.
Alongside this archival material, the album also features four tracks recorded live during a particularly inspired concert at the Conservatory Hall in Novara, as part of Novara Jazz. On this occasion, the trio was joined by British trumpeter Tom Arthurs, one of the most distinctive voices in the European improvising scene, known for his lyrical and visionary approach and for collaborations spanning contemporary jazz and experimental music.
In addition to original compositions, the repertoire of this collection includes four tunes by Bill Frisell and music by Paul Motian, Charles Mingus, Ornette Coleman & Pat Metheny, Thelonious Monk, Chris Speed, and also features a piece by Blonde Redhead, reimagined through the trio’s distinctive sensibility.
As with the previous three albums, the cover artwork is by Francesco Chiacchio, reaffirming the continuity of a project that brings together musical research and a strong visual identity.
