Timeless by ZOLAR X
I originally released Timeless the clear album in 1982 to keep the music alive while I was living in Hollywood. As the years rolled by, it circled the globe without my knowing via word of mouth, and those with a rare vinyl were making cassettes and sharing them. In 2002, I was living like a human in Nevada working in a casino when I received a letter from a fan telling me how there was a growing interest in Zolar X’s music and Jello Biafra, from the Dead Kennedy’s, had a record label and wanted to reissue Timeless. In August, 2004, Alternative Tentacles Records reissued Timeless.
The digital download contains every track from the ATR CD. I don’t like to compare Zolar X’s music with anybody. We were and are one-of-a-kind. But if I had to, I’d say mix a little Ziggy Stardust and some Zeppelin with a pinch of Mozart. Spice it up with some Beatlesque harmonies and bake it in a hard-core Punk oven.
